MY TOP TEN PERSONAL TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE TRAINING

Find exercise that you enjoy – if you are having fun, you’re more likely to stick at it.

Don’t restrict yourself from enjoying food and your life; it’s all about the balance.

If you’re trying to drop weight then you need to be on a calorie deficit (Eat Less).

Drink water – staying hydrated will help your mood, your energy levels and your training.

Find a programme that works for you – not everyone can follow the same one.

Record what you’re doing – keep a log of your exercise, your nutrition, this will keep you more accountable and ensure you are on track to hit your goals.

Ask for help – we all need help sometimes so don’t be afraid to ask.

Stretch & mobilise – keeping flexible & lose will help reduce DOMS and make you feel less sore & tired in general day to day activities.

Eat fruit & veg – vitamins & minerals are the back-bone to a good nutrition plan

Do you – stop listening to the 101 coaches out there and find what works for you, it’s not an easy process and if you’re looking the easy or quick way you might as well stop while you’re ahead as you’ll be chasing the easy way for the rest of your life. Results take time, patience and hard work. If you have those 3 things you will get results.
